DO I DO WHAT I SAY I DO?

MY TIME ANALYSIS

!Assignment

Fill out the schedule that is listed below for at least a day!

In order to receive full credit here you must put in specific behaviors you do each hour. It is best to write down some notes every fifteen minutes or so, and then list them.

Do not just write things like work, sleep, school, as this is too generalized to help us with the task. The point here is to examine very precisely what you actually do and to increase your awareness of each moment of how you spend your time.

What kind of a career seems to fit what you actually do? Many people say one thing and do another! If you were paid for the career according to the schedule by the hours that you listed what career would you have now?

Look at the following example. Suppose that you spent  sleeping 8 hours a night  for 7 days which would  have been  equivalent to having spent  56 hours or 33% of your time  sleeping. You might ask yourself what kind of job could this be? How about a mattress tester?

How about working for a mattress company testing how well one can sleep on different mattresses? At just a minimum wage that could amount to more than $200 a week. Not bad for sleeping on the job, right?

You may be surprised how almost anything you do can lead to a lucrative  income.  As suggested by the title of this course textbook, "Do What You Love, The Money Will Follow," there are many possibilities.
